For all those, like me, who are currently so busy that they have lost all track of date, time and reality. For those whose heads hurt from repeatedly looking at nonsensical figures, for those whose legs hurt from running up and down the stairs and for those, like me, whose pens are burning holes through paper and whose keyboards have RSI:
"The secret of the truly successful, I believe, is that they learned very early in life how not to be busy. They saw through that adage, repeated to me so often in childhood, that anything worth doing is worth doing well. The truth is, many things are worth doing only in the most slovenly, halfhearted fashion possible, and many other things are not worth doing at all."
Barbara Ehrenreich (b. 1941), U.S. author, columnist, taken from The Cult of Busyness,(First published 1985).
